2018 Wesley Garage Sale

posted Mar 21, 2018, 11:18 AM by Wesley Photo Directory

The annual Wesley Garage, Clothing & Book Sale is going to be held Friday April 20 & Saturday April 21. The actual hours for the sale will be 4:30 to 9:00 pm on Friday April 20 and from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm on Saturday April 21. This event is one of the year’s biggest fundraisers for the Wesley Men’s Club and Wesley church as a whole.  As in the past the tentative plan is to include a bake sale along with food and beverage services. The Wesley Garage Sale has an excellent reputation in Regina and our customers look forward to it with much anticipation.

Once again we are asking members of the congregation for their donations of furniture, household items, tools, sports equipment, books, clothing and other treasures.  Your items can be dropped off at the church commencing Monday April 16th and continuing up to the end of day Thursday April 19th.  If you have large items needing pickup that week please contact the church office (306-586-5220) and arrangements will be made.  If you are not able to bring your items to the church during office hours please make alternate arrangements with me (see number below).

A reminder to note the following regarding your donated items:

Ø  Please refrain from bringing items that are broken, damaged or not in working order; especially electronics, tools, toys, furniture and appliances.

Ø  Please ensure that all clothing items are clean, new or gently used and in “wearable” condition.

Ø  Please refrain from bringing reference books, encyclopedias, used mattresses, stoves, fridges, used baby cribs, used car seats, used baby strollers and “old style” tube television sets.

Please contact me if you have any questions or are willing to help in any capacity with the garage sale. The event has been extremely successful in prior years and, with the help of numerous volunteers, we are confident it will be a major success once again.

Watch for more updates in the upcoming weeks.

Thank You,

Darwin Roske
